About us

Born from a simple, powerful truth.

Men struggle in silence too often. For Black and ethnic minority men in the UK, that silence can be deafening.

The silence

Society has long taught men to be bulletproof. To carry pressure without flinching. To hide vulnerability behind strength. To suffer quietly rather than speak openly. For men from Black and ethnic minority communities, these expectations are magnified by cultural stigma, systemic barriers, and a lack of spaces that truly understand their lived experience.

We are here to change that.

Men It's OK is a community built to break down the walls that stop men from talking, sharing, and healing. No clinical rooms. No waiting lists. No judgement. We meet men where they are. In the gym. In the community. In business. In everyday life.

"The first step to healing isn't fixing everything. It's saying those three words.Men, it's ok."
What we do

Safe, informal, powerful spaces. Built for the men we serve.

Everything we do is aimed at boosting confidence, encouraging openness, and strengthening the mental and physical wellbeing of Black and ethnic minority men across the UK.

Informal hangouts

Honest conversations over food, sport, or just a cuppa. The kind of room where nothing has to be performed.

Business seminars

Tackling career pressure, entrepreneurship stress, and workplace mental health. For men who carry weight nobody talks about.

Group gym sessions

Combining physical strength with mental resilience, because the two go hand in hand.

1:1 mentoring

Personal meetings with key individuals. Peer support from men who have been there themselves.

Community events

Workshops, panels, and gatherings tailored to the lives of the men we serve.

Wellbeing activities

Practical activities designed to boost confidence, encourage openness, and strengthen everyday wellbeing.
